my car was stolen and recovered in late July and my insurance found classic collision to take it in for repairs. I was initially told that they would be communicating directly with my claim handler but throughout the time they had my car I was left with no information and had to initiate many things on my own by calling them. annoying but that's fine. finally, after having my car for two and a half months, they tell me my car is ready to come pick up. I drive the car out to get gas a couple blocks down and the steering wheel is positioned literally 45 degrees to the right of center. I immediately take it back to let them know what's going on. the guy at the front desk asks, are you sure? like of course I'm sure I'm not an idiot. so they say, oh no problem we can take care of it really quickly. annoying, but again fine. they say okay it's straight now. so I go to drive home and the steering wheel is now off center to the left and so loose my car is alerting me that I'm swerving and my tires are screeching any time I go to turn. it felt so dangerous and now I'm pissed because I've got to go back a second time. I take it back and say it's still crooked. they go, okay if you've got another hour we can take it to an alignment shop down the street. it's ridiculous that they had my car for nearly three months and didn't think it would be important to check the alignment before they released it to me. thank God they're not doing theft repairs anymore because it's clear they're fine with passing off their shoddy work as alright and forcing the customer to advocate for themselves. disappointing, would never take my car here if I had the choice.
This place gets a lot of respect on my behalf as I had a very troublesome experience with Insurance.
Classic collision Helped me as much as possible to make the process as smooth an easy as possible. as they went out of there way with great service an the most possible help they could provide!
would highly recommend this shop to the next person with there car troubles!!
Ryan McCormick and Iva were super helpful during the process of getting my car repaired. While their software had some issues of not notifying me updates, they were more than happy to get on the phone. The repairs, beyond impeccable. No orange peel, glossy, and very well done. I will absolutely recommend this to anyone that needs body repairs.
Drake was AWESOME! My car was stolen and I had no idea where to begin to remedy the situation. Drake helped me through it and was transparent, in touch and consultative. He helped me get in contact with a tow company and another auto-care location for services not provided by BJ’s to make sure every step of the process was seamless and smooth. Would recommend Drake and BJ’s to anyone in a similar situation.
Update, Andy, the regional manager called me immediately once I went to the Classic Collision website and used the chat function. Thanks Andy! That's all I needed in the first place.
I used this company as a car repair place twice when it was BJs auto. I got great service at that time. Drake, the son of the former owners is always nice and friendly and when it was BJs, he was extremely responsive. In July, I took my car back in because some of the repair job was failing. At that time, Drake told me it would be 10 business days until the part came in and to contact him to get something scheduled. It is now September 27 and after many phone calls (at least 5), I have not received a response from Drake. I just called again and asked if I could speak to someone else (his supervisor) and the front desk person told me that she would not go above Drake's head (well, if Drake doesn't respond to anything, how am I supposed to get my car fixed). So, here I am again waiting for Drake to respond and the front desk person hung up on me because I was getting irritated knowing that I have been calling since August about this and I will be back to square one since she wouldn't let me talk to anyone else.
